Peels
Glycolic acid is a product that efficiently decreases the "glue" that holds dead cells on the surface of the skin. This allows the dead cells to slough off, leaving behind a layer of smoother, softer skin. A solution containing concentrations of glycolic acid is applied to the skin for a brief period of time and then washed off. The glycolic acid formulations are gentle and will not necessarily induce an actual peel. This is an excellent treatment to combat adult acne, and dry, weathered, sun-damaged skin.
